This is our budget hotel, acquired back in 1979 when
Lochs and Glens first began. It is conveniently situated in the
small village of Arrochar at the head of a sea loch.
A few shops and the village pub are situated within walking
distance and there are a number of attractive local strolls to be
had in the surrounding hills. The more energetic may prefer to
tackle some of the higher peaks, the best-known being Ben Arthur,
the craggy mountain known locally as The Cobbler. Loch Lomond is
just 2 miles to the east and to the north, the road winds over the
"Rest and be Thankful" pass on its way to the Highlands and
Islands.
