Loch Awe Hotel 5 Day Scenic Scotland
First Day - Northern Ireland
Board the morning ferry to Cairnryan before making your way to the Loch Awe Hotel in time for dinner.

Oban
The largest town in Argyll & The Isles, Oban is known as the 'Gateway to the Isles' and is the 'Seafood Capital of Scotland'. Oban has a way of drawing out the romantic side of visitors, with its mists that roll in from the sea, and the hills which overlook the bay. The most iconic feature within Oban is McCaig's Tower, a Colosseum lookalike that stands above the town and offers wonderful views out west. From seafood to whisky, Oban offers a great range of local produce - all well worth sampling!

Isle of Mull & Tobermory Cruise
Mull boasts white sandy beaches, stunning scenery and many shops selling locally made crafts. With Ben More dominant in the skyline and 300 miles of coastline there is plenty to see and do. One of the most iconic harbours in Scotland, Tobermory is famous for its brightly coloured buildings that were once the setting of the TV show Balamory. After exploring the pretty port enjoy a sail through the crystal blue waters of the sound of Mull. Be sure to watch out for the local wildlife in the area and try to spot the puffins and porpoise.

Cruachan Power Station & Inveraray
Situated on the shores of Loch Awe, lying deep within Ben Cruachan, is one of the country’s most amazing engineering achievements. At its centre lies a massive cavern, high enough to house the Tower of London! Here enormous turbines convert water into electricity – all within the hollow mountain. After discovering this hidden achievement visit Inveraray – the most iconic town in Argyll. Inveraray boasts a neo-classical church and an intriguing jail museum, as well as Inveraray Castle – the ancestral home of the Dukes of Argyll.
