Mobility

Scotland is such a beautiful country and we believe it should be accessible to all.

A coach holiday is a stress free way of travelling but you must be able to walk up the few steps onto the coach. Walking frames, wheelchairs and mobility scooters are all welcome but please ensure you book them onto the coach before you travel.

Our custom built Ardgartan and Loch Tummel Hotels are fully wheelchair accessible and are all on one level with full lift access. However, the Loch Achray, Loch Awe and Highland Hotels do have some steps into certain public rooms although there are many lift accessible bedrooms. The unique location of Inversnaid makes accessibility more difficult and guests need to board a ferry and walk up a slope from the pier to the Hotel. We do have many lift accessible bedrooms at Inversnaid but this historic building and remote location may present a struggle for those with mobility issues.

Most of our excursions are mobility friendly but due to Scotland’s historic past some of the places we visit are not as well equipped. Please check attractions’ websites before travelling as we cannot guarantee they will meet your mobility needs.

All of our coaches can accommodate wheelchairs and scooters. Please advise us of your mobility needs at the time of booking your holiday. Please note that not all motorised scooters can be accepted for health and safety reasons. It is your responsibility to check that the scooter can easily be broken down in to parts that weigh no more than 23kg each. It is entirely your responsibility to dismantle and reassemble the scooter, the driver will help you to load the parts on to the coach. If any part weighs more than 23kg the driver must refuse to accept it on the coach. There is only room on each coach for 1 motorised scooter, so please check that there is still space before booking.

On Edinburgh Tattoo holidays, Wheelchair spaces can be reserved or low floor seating, please make this request when booking your holiday. Please note that it is not possible to make these requests after June.
