Perth was the former capital city of Scotland which was recently made a city again by the Queen in 2012 as part of her Diamond Jubilee celebrations. With a rich history as the Scottish capital Perth is an extremely interesting place to visit. Return to the Loch Tummel Hotel for another evening of live music and country dancing.
St Andrews
This famous town is known worldwide as ‘The Home of Golf’ and is also home to Scotland’s oldest university. There is plenty to see and do in St Andrews from wandering the medieval centre with its cobbled streets and narrow alleyways, to exploring the castle and ruined cathedral. The charm of the town continues down to the shore where there are two long sandy beaches which look out to the North Sea. Return to the Loch Tummel Hotel for another evening of live music and country dancing.
