Stirling & Callander

Explore the beautiful Royal Burgh of Stirling where for centuries monarchs ruled from its strategic castle and where merchants operated below castle rock. Stirling is Scotland’s heritage capital, and the Wars of Independence were fought and won here. The city has been carefully preserved and the history of Scotland lives on through the architecture and local landmarks. The castle sits majestically above the busy city and its regal splendour remains unchanged. The National Wallace Monument stands at 220ft and overlooks the scene of one of Scotland’s most famous battle sites, The Battle of Stirling Bridge, which was led by the famous William Wallace. After a busy day of exploring this historic city enjoy the tranquillity of Callander in the heart of the Trossachs before you return to the hotel.

Edinburgh

Scotland’s Capital seamlessly blends old and new, making it a fabulous city to explore. The Castle and the Royal Mile are steeped in history and Scottish culture. Holyrood Palace lies in the heart of the city alongside the new Scottish Parliament building and it is the combination of ancient and modern that makes Edinburgh such a vibrant place to visit. This bustling city offers a wide variety of shops, food and drink, as well as some of the best city views in Europe.

Pitlochry

Pitlochry is beautifully set in Highland Perthshire and has been a popular tourist destination since Queen Victoria made her Grand Tour of Scotland. This friendly little town boasts quaint architecture and beautiful scenery, as well as local crafts and produce.

Largs

Sitting at the Firth of the River Clyde, Largs is a traditional seaside resort on the West Coast. Stroll along the Victorian promenade and visit the famous ice cream parlours that have been hosting visitors since the nineteenth century.

Circular Tour of Loch Lomond and Cruise

Visit the ‘Queen of the Scottish Lakes’ and explore the famous bonnie banks. Loch Lomond lies in a National Park and is an area of outstanding natural beauty. There is a host of wildlife, plenty of stunning views and many activities in and around the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Cruise on Loch Lomond to fully appreciate the landscape and to learn about the turbulent history of the Loch.
