23rd December
After breakfast your driver will be waiting to take you on a mystery tour to a local attraction before returning to your hotel for lunch. This afternoon offers a chance to either explore the town of Fort William, relax with a book or join in our program of events and games. Enjoy a complimentary sherry reception in the evening before dinner and entertainment.
24th December, Christmas Eve
Also known as the ‘Highland Capital’, Inverness is the main city in the Scottish Highlands and although it is one of the fastest growing cities in Europe it still retains its market town atmosphere. Inverness offers a wide range of local produce and shops to explore as well as castles and heritage sites. Just a short distance away lies Scotland’s most famous Loch, known around the world thanks to its elusive monster. The Loch Ness Monster, Nessie, is undoubtedly the biggest attraction in the area. There have been rumours of a beast in the water since the 7th century but the first recorded sightings date back to 1933. The legend of Nessie remains unproven but explore this area to see for yourself! This trip will also include a visit to the Eden Court to see their pantomime production before heading back to the Highland Hotel for dinner and further entertainment.
25th December, Christmas Day
Enjoy christmas day in Scotland with a relaxing stroll through the town of Fort William or simply relax by the open fires in the morning. A tradtional Christmas lunch will be served in the afternoon and there will be plenty of fun and games throughout the day to celebrate.
26th December, Boxing Day
Visit some of the most dramatic scenery in Scotland as you travel through magnificent Glencoe – undoubtedly the most popular and scenic glen in Scotland. The sheer scale and grandeur of the landscape is sure to inspire as you pass the natural wilderness of Rannoch Moor before reaching romantic Loch Awe. Lunch will be provided at the Loch Awe Hotel before continuing on to the pretty town of Oban. Dinner and a farewell party wth music and dancing will round off your Scottish Christmas.
