First Day
Arrive at the Ardgartan Hotel in time for dinner.

23rd December
After breakfast your driver will be waiting to take you on a mystery tour to a local attraction before returning to your hotel for lunch. This afternoon offers a chance to either explore the extensive grounds, relax with a book or join in our programme of events and games. Enjoy a complimentary sherry reception in the evening before dinner and entertainment.

24th December, Christmas Eve
Glasgow is Scotland’s largest city and is famed for its vibrancy and the friendliness of its people. The city is constantly developing and has an energetic atmosphere with plenty and shops to do any last minute shopping! Glasgow’s industrial roots as the ‘Second City of the Empire’ have given the city its character and Glasgow now offers fabulous museums, art galleries and architecture. The city has countless impressive Victorian structures, including the Pavillion Theatre where a festive pantomime will be held before returning to your hotel for dinner and entertainment.

25th December, Christmas Day
Enjoy christmas day in Scotland with a relaxing stroll through the extensive grounds and a walk along the shores of Loch Long or simply relax by the open fires in the morning. A tradtional Christmas lunch will be served in the afternoon and there will be plenty of fun and games throughout the day to celebrate.

26th December, Boxing Day
Overlooking the still waters of Loch Fyne, Inveraray is the most iconic town in Argyll. This pretty town was founded in 1745 by the 3rd Duke of Argyll, head of the infamous Clan Campbell. Inveraray is a classic example of an 18th century planned town and the Georgian architecture remains unspoilt. There is plenty to do and see in the town and a visit to the neo-classical church and Inveraray jail are a must. Just a short walk from the town sits Inveraray Castle, the ancestral home of the Dukes of Argyll. The castle is a beautiful example of neo-gothic architecture and lies in extensive grounds with many short walks. After a morning of exploring Argyll return to your hotel for lunch and an afternoon of relaxation. Enjoy dinner and a farewell party with music and dancing to round off your Scottish Christmas.
