The Royal Yacht Britannia & Edinburgh
Follow in the footsteps of royalty and explore this floating Royal residence. Discover this unique royal attraction that was home to the British Monarchy for over 40 years and has sailed over 1 million miles all over the world. During your tour you will explore Britannia’s fascinating past before seeing the sun lounge – the Queen’s favourite room – the royal apartments and the royal bedrooms. The visit is expected to last at least two hours and will be followed by a short time for general sightseeing or shopping in central Edinburgh.
Enjoy a sailing on the world's last sea-going paddle steamer - the Waverley!
One of the most iconic and historic ships – Waverley is the last sea-going paddle steamer in the world. Magnificently restored to her former glory with towering funnels, timber decks, gleaming varnish and brass. You can see and hear the mighty steam engines as the Waverley glides through the sea, giving passengers a glimpse of by-gone times.
Oban
The largest town in Argyll & The Isles, Oban is known as the 'Gateway to the Isles' and is the 'Seafood Capital of Scotland'. Oban has a way of drawing out the romantic side of visitors, with its mists that roll in from the sea, and the hills which overlook the bay. The most iconic feature within Oban is McCaig's Tower, a Colosseum lookalike that stands above the town and offers wonderful views out west. From seafood to whisky, Oban offers a great range of local produce - all well worth sampling!
