Christmas Eve - A visit to Inverness
On leaving Fort William we travel north, following the Great Glen, to Fort Augustus where the Caledonian Canal meets Loch Ness. We then continue along the shore of Loch Ness - keeping an eye open for tell-tale ripples - to Inverness, Capital of the Highlands. Return to the Highland Hotel for dinner and entertainment.
Christmas Day - A day of festivities & fun
Enjoy Christmas day in Scotland with a stroll through the town of Fort William or simply relax by the open fires. The hotel team will host their annual sherry party before serving a traditional Christmas dinner, followed by entertainment in the evening.
Boxing Day - Glencoe & Rannoch Moor
Visit some of the most dramatic scenery in Scotland as you travel through magnificent Glencoe – undoubtedly the most popular and scenic glen in Scotland. The sheer scale and grandeur of the landscape is sure to inspire as you pass the natural wilderness of Rannoch Moor before reaching romantic Loch Awe.
